Tanker 5


2006 International Custom DT570

Tanker 5 is equipped with a 750 gpm pump and a 1800 gallon tank. This unit carries a minimal amount of equipment, and can be used as an attack unit if needed.

 
 
Brush 5


2005 Ford F-350 4x4

Brush 5 carries 300 gallons of water along with a 5 gallon Foam Pro system. The unit also hosts a full compliment of brush firefighting equipment. Brush 5 also serves as a ALS first responder unit.

 
 
Station 1


2008 Station 1

Station 1 is located in the court house area of Amelia County. Company 1 is also the second due in company for the other four stations in the county.

 
 
Engine 1 - The Work Horse


2000 Pierce Saber

Engine 1 is the work horse of the county, and this unit is utilized on every working fire in the county. This engine carries a full compliment of fire and rescue equipment, and has a 1000 gallon tank with a 1250 gpm pump. This unit also features a 50 gallon foam tank, and a full ALS medical gear.

 
 
Tanker 1


1999 Navistar 4900

Tanker 1 carries a full compliment of fire equipment, 2- SCBA's, 2- 200 ' 1 3/4 cross lays, and a 1800 gallon tank with a 750 gpm pump. It is also equipped with three quick dumps, one on both sides and one on the rear.

 
 
Fire Rescue 1


1995 Navistar 4700

Fire Rescue 1 is the lone heavy rescue unit in the county. This apparatus responds to all MVA's and working fires in the county along with the first due companies. The unit hosts a full compliment of fire and rescue tools, and is equipped with a hurst pre-mounted pump and 2 pre-piped cord reels.
Rescue 1 carries rams, spreaders, o-cutterrs, low pressure and high pressure air lift bags, rescue jacks, cribbing, rope rescue gear and other assorted rescue equipment. This unit is also equipped with a onboard generator and a fully rechargeable integrated cascade system.

 
 
Brush 1


2004 Ford F-550

Brush 1 carries 300 gallons of water with a 10 gallon pre-piped foam system. This unit is outfitted with one booster reel and one pre-conneced 1 &3/4 inch hand line. This unit also carries a full compliment of brush firefighting equipment.

 
 
Car 1


2002 Ford Crown Vic.

Car 1 is a retired ex-police car that was donated to the fire department by the county. This vehicle is used by all five stations for training or different transportation needs.

 
 
Station 2


2009 Mannboro

Station 2 is located in the Mannboro area of Amelia County.

 
 
Engine 2


2002 Pierce Saber

Engine 2 is equipped with a 1500 gpm pump and a 1000 gallon water tank. This unit also has a 50 gallon on board foam tank that is controlled with a Foam Pro system. This unit carries a full compliment of firefighting and rescue equipment, and has seating for six. Engine 2 is also outfitted for BLS medical response.

 
 
Tanker 2


1991 International Custom DT466

Tanker 2 has a 1800 gallon tank with a 500 gpm pump. This unit carries a minimal amount of firefighting equipment.

 
 
Brush 2

Engine 3


1985 MB Mack

Engine 3 is the oldest pumper in the county. This unit is equipped with a 1250 gpm pump and a 1000 gallon water tank. This engine has seatiting for 5, and carries a full compliment of firefighting equipment.

 
 
Tanker 3


1991 International Custom DT466

Tanker 3 has a 1800 gallon tank and a 500 gpm pump. This unit carries minimal firefighting equipmet.

 
 
Brush 3

Tanker 4 carries 1800 gallons of water and has a 750 gpm pump. This unit also hosts a minimal compliment of firefighting equipment, and can also be used as an attack unit.

 
 
EMS 4


1991 Ford Explorer 4 x 4

EMS 4 is a quick response vehicle that is equipped with both BLS and ALS equipment.

 
 
New Brush 4


2009 F-550 ford - Fouts Brothers

New brush 4 was built by Fouts Brothers in GA. This unit is equipped with a 300 gallon water tank, a 6 gallon Foam Pro system, two booster reels and a 1 1/2 pre-connected attack line. Brush 4 carries a full compliment of brush firefighting equipment, and will be put into service around the first of Feb. 2009

 
 
Old Brush 4


1979 Chevrolet 4 x 4

Brush 4 carries 150 gallons of water and a full compliment of brush firefighting equipment. This unit will be replaced in December of 2008, as new brush 4 is almost ready for delivery.

 
 
Station 5


2009 Paineville



 
 
Engine 5


2004 International Custom

Engine 5 is equipped with a 1250 gpm pump and carries a1000 gallons of water. This unit has seating for 5 personnel, and also has a Foam Pro system onboard. Engine 5 is the only engine in the county with a walk through mid-mount pump panel. This unit hosts a full compliment of firefighting and rescue equipment.
