AMELIA VOLUNTEERS
Fire & EMS
Hello and welcome to the Amelia County Volunteer Fire Department. We are a 100% volunteer department with 125 dedicated members, manning five stations throughout the county. The volunteers respond to Fire & EMS emergencies and also assist our neighbors with mutual aid when needed. We are located 30 miles west of the city of Richmond, Va.

Emergency Dial - 911
For over Five years now, the Amelia County Volunteer Fire Department has given away free smoke detectors to all of our citizens, you can stop by any of the fire stations and pick one up. If you are unable to install the smoke detector, the firefighters will come out and install it for you at no charge.
