AMELIA VOLUNTEERS 

                               Fire & EMS                 

Hello and welcome to the Amelia County Volunteer Fire Department. We are a 100% volunteer department with 125 dedicated members, manning five stations throughout the county. The volunteers respond to Fire & EMS emergencies and also assist our neighbors with mutual aid when needed. We are located 30 miles west of the city of Richmond, Va.

 

We are always looking for new volunteers to join our department. If you are interested, please leave us a message at 804-561-1369 and someone will return your call. Also see our recruiting link to the left.

For over Five years now, the Amelia County Volunteer Fire Department has given away free smoke detectors to all of our citizens, you can stop by any of the fire stations and pick one up. If you are unable to install the smoke detector, the firefighters will come out and install it for you at no charge. If you need a smoke detector installed, leave us a message at 804-561-1369 or use  the contact link to leave us a message.
